• Hello Hector.

Please, I would like to suggest a second type of range. Something like “display the 10 most viewed posts in the last 24 hours among posts published up to 5 days ago [or something like that]”. Is there any way to do this?

This can help us create fresher rankings for readers.

Congratulations on WordPress Popular Posts. An incredible plugin.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

There is a way but requires some coding (WPP provides filter hooks that devs in general can tap into for this kind of stuff). The plugin itself -as you probably already know- currently doesn’t have any sort of user interface / settings to allow for this kind of filtering.

But yes, I do agree that it would be nice to have something like that. I’ll play around with the idea and see if I can make it happen so thanks for the suggestion!

    Hi @hcabrera

Thank you for the quick reply.

I will eagerly await this solution. I hope it is possible to implement it. Some large news sites often display the top 10 most read stories using this concept of filtering by the most recent news. So it really is a feature that would make the list fresher. ??
