    The cron job named “wpo_reset_webp_conversion_test_result” erases the page cache every day in the current version of WPOptimize, we use Wp-Crontrol to halt this. My question: 1) is it possible to halt this process with a hook in functions.php insteaf of using a plugin for that. 2) Will the next version of Wp-Optimize correct this ? This wpo_reset_webp_conversion_test_result is related to webp images, but we don’t need to generate webp in our case.

    Hi,

    Apologies, I have logged a report with our development team regarding this. We should have a fix in the next release

    Do you have this option checked?

    No, we don’t use webp images so this checkbox is unchecked.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to stop this, we will have a fix very soon.

    Apologies, I do realise this is awfully inconvenient

    Unfortunately, I don’t have a definitive time frame at the moment.

    Hi,
    I have the same issue and I’ve searched since days what is erasing the whole content of cache/wpo-cache again and again. Today I found out that it’s caused by the wp cronjob wpo_reset_webp_conversion_test_result although I don’t have image compression active…

    HI,

    The cron job runs regardless of wether you have switched WebP Conversion on unfortunately. Sincere apologies for this, I do realise it is inconvenient.

    Hi,

    As the issue is affecting a large number of users, it will be treated as high priority.

    @vupdraft Many many thanks !

    Another great feature for WPO would be memcached management. Just sayin…
