WPMU to WP

I have a WordPress instance that I originally enabled Multi-user (MU) mode. I added a couple sites, but later I decided that I want to manage things differently, so I deleted all sites except the top root site. I would like to now convert the WordPress-MU configuration back to WordPress Standalone (non-MU).

Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?
