WPMU REGISTER page creates 404

  • OK I am having an error when going to my register page in the safari browser, it goes to a 404 page. in the url after the https://rdrnews.com/wordpress/wp-signup.php it goes to https://www.rdrnews.com/rdrnews/?page_id=69258 and displays the 404.

    the website is in the directory /wordpress
    the old website was in the directory /rdrnews

    this website was created from scratch and only the themes plugins, database, media, and WXR containing everything was imported. the core files were not uploaded to the new site and the old site was deleted before the new site was created. rdrnews.com

    yes rdrnews.com/wordpress is set to mature
    yes i have disabled all plugins to test if the problem still exists
    yes wp-signup.php and wp-login.php exist and are not tampered with

    i need wp-member to use its register form for access level subscriptions but that hasnt worked even on chrome or firefox.

    If you have any solutions please help me out.
