• When I have the Archives Calendar Widget plugin installed and activated in a WordPress MultiSite, creating new sites results in the error:

    Can’t write in `/wp-content/plugins/archives-calendar-widget/themes/
    Unable to open file!

The site itself does not work as it doesn’t appear to be fully created. I have to delete the partially created site, deactivate the plugin, then create the site. After this, I can re-activate the plugin with no issues.

    Hi,

I have to setup a MultiSite test environment to debug this issue.
It’s because the plugin creates a theme css file but I think (can’t remember) the path is different in MU setup.

Try creating /wp-content/plugins/archives-calendar-widget/themes/ manually if it does not exists and set the access rights to 755 before activating the plugin. (Not sure it will help)

Will setup a multisite environment and try to fix it as soon as possible.

    Thanks, for the quick response.

I removed the plugin altogether and re-installed it. When first installed, that directory is already set to 755. Creating a new site still results in the error.

I tried changing permissions to 777 for that directory and everything inside just to test and still get the error.

    Hi,
I’ve tested with multisite environment and it worked well.
Tested with the v1.0.4 of the plugin.
