WPMU – Allow Users to Select Their Role at Registration

I’m trying to figure out how to allow users to select their own role from a dropdown list and assign that role to them upon registration in WPMU.

I’ve seen a couple of posts that got me close but non were MU and I can’t seem to make it work or find anyone that has.

I just want this to be an added option when the register.
