    Hi!

We used to have the text translated in WPML. The support team did it by adding the CNB string translation.

In the recent update or recents it was lost. Wondering if you implemented a way to add the translation to WPML,

    Regards

    Hi Manu,

Welcome back! How are you? Which support team are you referring to? I wish I had one but I definitely don’t ?? I’ve never worked on enabling the button for translations so nothing was removed from the plugin code on that front. Maybe somebody in your company updated the text in the code directly? In that case it would have been overwritten during an update.

    Cheers,
    Jerry

Hey Jerry all good hope you too! Sorry I mean the support team of WPML.
Ah I see, I will check it. Is not implemented in a way so that WPML can translate it no?

I see the string is still there still in WPML but not displaying so I will ask them, thanks!

    Hi Manu,

All good here too, thanks! I’ve never worked on the translation piece and it does require a bit of work to enable the plugin for this. It’s been on my list for a long time so I’ll look into this as well.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Hi Jerry thanks for reply,

We are talking with WPML support but at least the guy that is helping us now is really having trouble trying to translate it, some months ago they were able to do it so not sure if you updated something that would change the way in which they made the translation.

But sice we have no clue of what they did then and now we are not of much help but would be really nice to get it translated, not sure if the coding work is on your side or in theirs.

I believe WPML have like a list of approved plugins for translations so maybe they do the coding there no?

    Regards

Hi! I’d also like a built-in solution for translating button text using WPML.

By the way, here’s the solution (not really): https://wpml.org/forums/topic/call-now-button-translation/

I say “not really” because there in this case the phone icon on the left is not displayed. And besides, the changes will be lost during the next update of “Call Now Button”, so you have to make these changes regularly. But still, it’s better than nothing.

Thanks Vadimdev yeah I know that solution mainly cause is me the one talking there with WPML ?? We also let Jerry know about it by email so hopefully in the future there is a better workaround for this,

The phone icon issue does not happen to me, is perfectly displayed,
