  • Hi,

the 404page Plugin never was tested with WPML. WPML is a premium Plugin that is not available for free. Also they do not offer a free demo. They have a certification program for developers but I’m not sure they’re willing to support such a small private project.

If you would support me with testing I’ll try to fix it. It would be the best if you could set up a test site for me and allow me to access it. Then I could do all the tests my own. Otherwise I would need your help.

If you’re willing to support me please let me know your mail address via https://smartware.cc/contact.

    Hello,

I’m trying to build a custom 404 Error Page using your plugin. I assigned an ordinary static page as a 404 Error Page. Most of all ist working, the content is showing, but the sidebar (with the widgets) is missing.

If I open the original static page, which I assign as the aim of 404 redirection using your plugin, the sidebar and formatting is displaying correctly without errors. It seems that the template information is being lost somewhere during the referring process …

Does anybody have ideas on this issue? Is it a theme thing, a word press thing, a plugin thing? How can I adjust it, that the referred 404 page is showing with the sidebar?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mogie

Sorry, wrong post for my inquiry.

I’ve tested the Plugin with different Page Templates and this problem never came up. First please try to deactivate all other Plugins to check if it depends on a combination of Plugins. If so, please try to find out, which one causes the problem, by activating the other Plugins one by one. If you can figure it out, I’ll try to fix it.

If the problemm still appears with all other Plugins deactivated then please let me know which Theme you are using and I’ll try to find the reason.

OK, I realised too late you’ve opened another topic. I posted my answer there too. Please let’s use the other topic and preserve this one for the original question.
