    Hi Marcus
I am building an English (default) and French bilingual site. How do I get WPML to use EM’s dbem-fr_FR.mo file? I have translated the events and locations and WPML links the translated custom posts correctly but the website still displays English strings for table headings, messages, etc.

In WPML’s “Theme and plugins localization” screen I only see options for ‘MO file in wp-content/languages’ and ‘MO file in /wp-content/themes/twentythirteen’.

    WPML 3.0.1, EM 5.5.2, EM-WPML 0.3, 2013 Child Theme

  • Hi,

Did you create the PO file with WPML? You should see the option under Events Manager on the Themes and plugins localization page.

No. I found the PO and MO files in your plugin in includes/langs. There is absolutely no mention of EM in the WPML Themes and plugins localization page. That’s what my question concerns. Does WPML look for PO and MO files in certain directories? Where should I put the EM MO file?

If you’re not seeing any mention of Events Manager on that page, is it because you haven’t selected Translate by WPML at the top of the page?
