• Hello,

Thank you for a great plugin! I support the complex site at the link above and there are three languages: English, Chinese and Japanese.

When I go to a Japanese or Chinese page and pick Revisionize from the admin tool bar, the revision page that is created is attributed to English. This causes other problems later down the line.

When I pick the revisionize button from inside the editor dashboard for the page, it works the way it should and my revision page is properly tagged by language.

Please let me know if you can reproduce this.

    Thanks again.

    Regards,
    Karla

I haven’t done extensive (any) testing with WPML or translation plugins. But maybe you can help troubleshoot further.

What is the URL after you click from the Admin Tool Bar vs the URL after you click from within the editor? Perhaps it’s missing a parameter in the URL that indicates the language.

    Hi Jamie,

Thank you for responding. My apologies, this is in an alternate mailbox.

The URL in for these translation pages look like:
    x.com/ja/mypage
The english URL looks like x.com/mypage

When I use revisionize from the tool bar, it creates a revision but it probably does not do some magic to assign it to the ja language in WPML.

When I use revisionize from inside the editor page, then it gets assigned properly. Maybe something gets copied into the revision from inside the editor that is not copied when the revision is triggered from the toolbar? Some javascript setting?

This might be a repeat of what I sent you before.

Is there some way to help you with a demo?

    Regards,
    Karla
