WPML compatibility

  • Hello,

    I’d like to know if this plugin is compatible with the WPML multi-lingual plugin. The default WP Cloudflare plug in is.

    I have 3 domains, each assigned to one language. With one WordPress install, WPML shows the 3 translations depending on the domain the user picks or when he clicks on a “language switcher”.

    Example:
    https://www.mysite.com
    https://www.miosito.it
    https://www.misitio.es

    They are one WordPress installation and the user sees the appropriate extension when he picks another language.

    While I haven’t tried the plugin personally, but generally speaking, I can’t think of a reason it wouldn’t work, outside of one thing…

    For Guest Page Caching, you might need to add the Cloudflare Cache Rule manually to the secondary domains in your Cloudflare dashboard if you want to be able to cache HTML pages on the alternate domains.

    It could probably be made to do create any secondary domain cache rules automatically, but I don’t have access to any WPML sites, so not sure how to test that.
