    Hi!

Since WPML’s Media Translation add-on is a premium plugin, I’m unable to test it.

However, based on how Alt Text Tools works, it’s likely that it is compatible.

Alt Text Tools is an extremely lightweight plugin so you could install it and give it a quick test – try downloading the CSV from Tools > Alt Text Tools and you’ll be able to tell very quickly if it’s giving you the infgormation you’re looking for.

Please let us know how it goes!

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your quick reply!

I did test out the plugin on a staging site.
It appears to work fine with WPML after trying to download the CSV file.
However, I’m experiencing a strange issue.

The first x number of rows in the file contains a bunch of random HTML from some PHP and JS files in the theme.
Then after that, it lists all of the images as expected.

Have you ever encountered a similar issue before?
It seems like it works as expected (for the most part), I’m just not sure why it’s grabbing some random HTML code from some of the custom PHP/JS code in the theme and displaying that in the CSV file before the images.

Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

    Thank you!

Let me know if I should open a separate thread for the above issue.
I didn’t think about the fact that the above is probably not related to WPML when posting.

Hi @nbond1! Sorry I missed your other reply earlier.

This is indeed strange… Could you please send me a copy of the CSV file so I can take a look? support – at – nerdpress – dot – net

Also, you mentioned “custom” css/js in the theme…are you using a custom theme, or one that’s already built with modifications? Any other details you can provide about that customization might be helpful clues.

    Thanks,
    Andrew
