    Hi there
First of all thanks for your awesome plugin. it helps a lot.
I just wonder is there a headache-free way to use the plugin on multi lingual website created by WPML?
I can translate the header and footer to other languages on “Header Footers Template” section, but changing the page language has no effect on the language selection of neither the header nor the footer.
I think it shouldn’t need hard work to implement the header footer elements based on page language and make plugin WPML compatible, any idea?

    Hello @yashar_hv,

I tried translating the layout using WPML and it only displayed the title in the Translation editor – https://cl.ly/opXZ
Is this the same problem that you are facing?

I have contacted WPML team regarding suggestions on this. I will follow up with them and will try to get this sorted quickly.

@nikschavan it’s wired. I have no problem with translating the header, see this: https://pasteboard.co/H3bXYa8.jpg
Did you enable translation for hf custom post type?
Although it’s possible to change the translation settings to “Create translations manually” from WPML>Create translations manually>Multilingual Content Setup and design different header or footer for each language but again changing the language on the front-end has no effect on the language selection of the elements.

    Hello

I have fixed this on a branch on GitHub – https://github.com/Nikschavan/header-footer-elementor/pull/68/files

You can test this and let me know if this fixes your problem. I will soon release this as an update on W.org.
