Firstly; great work. Once I figured out how everything worked I was able to set everything up exactly the way I wanted it; including adding code to fire events for the Facebook pixel.

We’re now looking at implementing WPML (WordPress Multi-Language) to make our site multi-currency and multi-lingual. Are you aware of any compatability issues?

Thanks for all the hard work.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your question.
Since my plugin is only using standard WordPress functions and as far as I know WPML tries to integrate in a way that is not visible to plugin/theme functionality, I assume there shouldn’t be any issues.

If you find any, please let me know so that I can fix them asap ??

    Have a great day,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

I may have found an issue. It appears that there is no ecomm_ variable for currency. How can this be passed? We have facebook events that use the ecomm_ variables, but currently currency is held as a static value in a variable in GTM because the site has been of a single currency. Once we move to multi-currency, we’ll need a way to pass this also.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing this info: the AdWords remarketing tag does not include currently a currency field and because of this it is not possible for me to include this in the data layer.

If you are using enhanced ecommerce, the currently selected currency in WooCommerce will be available but there is no way to report this to the AdWords remarketing tag.

Maybe you could ask the EN advertiser community where Googlers are also present:
