WPML and base URL for code insertion

Hi,
I have WPML-Site where I load some code snippets into crayon. I’v set the base url for these code snippets to
https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/snippets/
In german (WPML-base language) this is fine.
In english WPML adds the language-directory to the path:
https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/snippets/en/
leading to nowhere cause there is no physical directory with this name on the server. With former versions of wpml/crayon this was not the case, the base-url stayed untouched.Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
I know that I should post this on WPML-Forum, however I notice from former requests that this would be waste of time.Best regards
