WPML Addon with WooCommerce

    Could you please help me to understand how exactly does WPML Addon for MailChimp for WP works along with WooCommerce Checkout integration?

    I have two different MailChimp lists for EN and RU languages. This was set up under WPML settings inside MailChimp for WP settings. So when client chooses to subscribe to our newsletter at the checkout page, does MailChimp for WP detect the language he use on our site and subscribes him to the right list? Also, will ?Set the subscriber’s language based on the site language? work?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Yes, when using our WPML extension, you can add users to a specific list based on the site language. Also, if you enable the “Site Language” option, then the user’s language would be set based on the site/language they are browsing. However, if it’s not set then it would be based on the language set in the user’s browser.
