  • I was about to open a ticket for that.
More when it was working before last major update.
Can you fix it to make it work again please?

    Hi Andrew & Pepitoto,

Can you please go into a bit more detail as to how the plugin is currently not compatible with WPML? We have configuration files in place that should make most strings translatable by WPML.

For translating the entire form, this should be possible using WPML String Translator. For an easier solution, the Premium add-on allows you to create multiple forms so you can create a form for each of your site languages.

Hope that helps. If not, let me know!

    Hi Danny,

    Thanks for answering so fast.

It looks like something isn’t working well as I haven’t change the markup nor the plugin settings and before updating to version 3, it was working well but it doesn’t know.

I have auto register string activated.
I tried to change the form but the changes don’t reflect in the string translator.
Are you sure you follow the rules of WPML (https://wpml.org/documentation/support/translation-for-texts-by-other-plugins-and-themes/) in your plugin?

I really don’t know what to do to make it work.

    Hallo Danny,

it has been right the WPML team to confirm that your plugin is not compatible with WPML and they have recommended me to contact Mailchimp to invite you collaborating with them.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

    Hi,

Just writing to let you know that I’m also having troubles with mailchimp+WPML after mailchimp (major) update.

I have asked WPML Support service and after checking my site they have confirmed that the new version of mailchimp widget (3.x.x) is not fully compatible with WPML.

In my case, the problem is related to the sign-up form included in my site. All the texts of the sign-up form are always shown in English, although translations to Spanish have been provided and completed using WPML String translation.

The translation worked OK before updating mailchimp widget, but now the widget content is not updated after choosing Spanish language in the language switcher.

This is an important issue for multilingual sites, so thanking you in advance for doing your best to solve this bug as soon as possible.

If I can help somehow from my side, please let me know.

    Kind regards

It’s the same for my website.
    Everything was ok before update…

I don’t understand why it’s marked as “Solved” as it’s not.
I updated WP to 4.4 and this plugin too but it’s still doing the same.
