  • I have a problem. I wanted to translate the products. I copied the products from English into German. However, I enter the German version and have a padlock icon next to the custom attributes with the message “This field os locked for editing becasuse WPML will copt its value from rhe orginal language”. I translated via WooCommerce -> WooCommerce Multilingual, but the names were not translated, only the content in non-standard attributes. Please help

  • Hi @karolinaibif,

    The locked fields are locked because changing them caused issues when you start to add WooCommerce extensions and other plugins.

    The names of your products should be translatable by default, which leads me to believe some plugin other than WooCommerce and WPML is also actively modifying the product fields.
