    We ran security scanner, Anti-Malware from GOTMLS.NET on our WP installation. It reported a known threat contained in wpmenucart-settings.php which is centered around this line of code “<div style=”position:absolute; left:0; right:0; top:0; bottom:0; background-color:white; -moz-opacity: 0; opacity:0;filter: alpha(opacity=0);” class=”hidden-input”></div>”

We are running WP 4.1 and WooCommerce Menu Cart 2.5.5.

Is this a possible false positive?

    Hi there,
This part of the code is our advertisement for the pro version. As far as I can see, there’s no harmful code there whatsoever. The pro version gives us the necessary funds to develop and maintain the free version, and the advertisement (which doesn’t do anything but tell you about the pro features) is our way to promote that.

So yes, I would say this is a false positive!
