wp.me links not working after upgrade to WP3.1 and Jetpack

I recently upgraded to WP3.1 and it is great so far. I also installed the Jetpack plug-in. But, I noticed today that all of my wp.me shortlinks (both previous and new) no longer work. I saw another post on the forum that referred to deleting and re-installing Stats. I tried that but I don’t think that method will work for me now because Jetpack has taken over Stats.

Basically wp.me is adding a subdirectory to my link. My website is https://www.halfkorean.com and wp.me is now sending to https://www.halfkorean.com/blog/. This was my directory when I first installed WP and I had moved it and had no problems prior to WP3.1 and Jetpack. (I’m not sure if the wp.me shortlinks stopped working after the upgrade to WP3.1 or after I added Jetpack).

I also saw on one of the forum threads about the WP.com account and I did notice that my WP.com account is showing my blog address as https://www.halfkorean.com/blog too. Is there a way to change it and would that be the cause of the wp.me shortlink issue or is that irrelevant?
