wpMandrill WP Better Emails Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log

  • Hi there,

    I’m currently using two other plugins to work with WP emails and would like to know how they’d work in conjunction with Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log

    I use Mandrill and have wpMandrill installed. When I install / set-up Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log, I see the following alert on the plugins page: “Mandrill: wp_mail has been declared by another process or plugin, so you won’t be able to use Mandrill until the problem is solved.” Does this mean I have to use either wpMandrill or Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log, but not together?

    Also, another plugin I’m using is WP Better Emails to override the default WP email templates. However, when I use wp_mail() with WP Better Emails, the templates no longer apply. Do I need to use something instead ofwp_mail() or create a new template?

    This is just a warning It just means you it wont send via WP mandrill.
    My config that was working up untill a month ago was:
    Use mandrill as SMTP relay that was configured in the postman SMTP.
    Give it a test email see how you go.
