    Hi,
must raise this issue which confuses me. After your recommendation I have installed the WP Real Media Library. I create a smart collection in WP/LR in LR and do the sync. The collection then comes up nicely in the WP Real Media Library. If I amend the title of the smart collection in LR, then the corresponding folder in WP Real Media Library is emptied and all images which were there before have been uncategorized. A bug or have I missed something?

    Hi,

I am not sure, it should work, I have actually just tested the latest versions together and it worked for me. I will ask Matthias (the developer of RML and of the extension as well) to check this, he might have an idea.

Hi again, further to this IT looka like the number of uploaded images in WP/LR sync does not cortespond to the numbers indicated in the circles in the WP Real Media Gallery.

That can come from so many things; if you started to use WP/LR Sync after RML, if you uploaded images by yourself (not through WPLR), etc… Would be a bit hard to debug. Let’s see if Matthias has an idea.

Believe I have done it in proper order. Installed RML and then uploading thru WP LR. The page I create with the uploaded images from WP LR contains all images as per the WP LR smart collection but is not correctly reflected in RML.

    Hello there!
Here is the developer of RML. Can you please enable the “Debug mode” in Settings > Media > RML panel. Then try to reprocedure the bug and have a look at the debug log in Settings > Media > RML panel.

    Best regards,
    Matthew ??

I have the same issue so wanted to debug. But this is confusing…

WP Real Media Library is active (as in – I can deactivate AND I see a folder structure in Media)

    But I get this warning:
The plugin Real Media Library is not active (maybe not installed neither) or the version of Real Media Library is < 2.8.3 (please update). However, you activated the WP/LR Sync extension for it. Until the plugin is installed, the extension will not be loaded.

And I was in fact looking for an answer if, when checking extension Real Media Library, if it still is recommended to check ‘post types’

If this message appears, is that your version of RML is too old. Which version are you using?

You don’t need to use the Post Types extension, RML doesn’t need that one.

hm yes you’re right. it even showed in the warning. I think what confused me that all my plugins show as updated. But that solved it, thanks.
