WPL UI Customizer reverts, not saving

I’ve tried multiple times to save my UI Customizer settings to no avail. Also, how can I apply a font family imported via Adobe fonts instead of the Google fonts list? Thank you.

The console does report an error each time I try to save:

Uncaught (in promise) Error: A listener indicated an asynchronous response by returning true, but the message channel closed before a response was received

admin.php:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()
