• I have installed Gallery2 and the WPG2 plugin on my wordpress blog.

On my homepage which is my wordpress homepage, I have a sidebar login widget where users can login or register. When a user registers from here they automatically become users of the Gallery2 via the roles management plugin.

But – if a user is not logged in and browses to my image gallery page which displays in my wordpress blog, there is a registration link at the top. When you register through here, this user doesn’t become a member of my wordpress site – only the gallery.

The problem is that users can only login through the wordpress side and then they can browse through the gallery.

Is there a way to get the registration link to go away or register through to wordpress?

    Thanks in advance

Ahh – I figured it out.

I’ve installed my Gallery2 via fantastico and the default installation adds the plugin for registration of members. I deactivated this and now it works the way I want to.
