WPForms, WP Mail SMTP, and Google Workspace Issue

When I submit a WPForms form, the notifications that are set up are configured to have the “from” email and name be something other than the account selected in the WP Mail SMTP Google configuration.
That configuration is set to the account [email protected].One notification is set to display a “from name” of “My Company Name” and “[email protected].” The other is set to display the value of one of the fields entered by the user as the “from name” and their email address as the “from email.”
However, when the emails arrive, one of the “from names” is “me” while the other one is what it should be, and the “from email” is always [email protected], rather than what I have specified in the notification configuration on WPForms. It’s like WP Mail SMTP is overriding that setting even though the option in WP Mail SMTP to Force From Name or Email aren’t toggled on. (It could be Google doing this…?)
