We are having trouble connecting our WPForm to our OSTicket. We are getting the error “invalid CSRF token” in the OSTicket logs, with the token being empty. How can we resolve this? Thanks!

    Hi!

CSRF token processing is not part of the functionality of our plugin. It can be internal wpforms or wordpress core functionality.

There is ‘wpforms’ hidden field on 2nd screenshot. Could you remove this field and check if form can be submitted, please?

Also, please specify the URL of your form’s page, if possible – we will check the internal structure of the form.

    Best regards,

We removed the hidden field but are still getting the “empty csrf token” error. The URL of the forms page is https://gamerepublik.wpcomstaging.com/create-ticket/

    Thank you!

    Hi!

We are sorry, but issue related to configuration of osTicket. Please configure CSRF protection properly regarding to creation of new ticket via API in your osTicket instance.

    Thanks.

Hi, there are some unclear information as usual. Programmer’s thinking is beyong normal user thinking. The story is played in his head only… ??

Ok. So the problem is that connector path should show to the api folder where .json file is. But I have a new OsTicket installation and there is nothing like json file in api folder. Mybe nowhere in the OSTicket installation. Only php files.. There json doesn’t exists.

Second, is it matter when my page is alwais with https? What I should put to the url row then?? Every www page is nowadays with https but here it seems like some http path is needed. I don? have http solution…

Please for there two explanations what to do. Thank you a lot.

It’s okay, ticket.json is just an alias which define the type of response, in this case it will be JSON.

Not sure we can offer solutions without seeing how both systems are configured. Please email to wordpress(at)scand.com if you are ready to provide access in admin panels of your WordPress and osTickets.

    Thanks.
