I am trialing the Lite version before moving to Pro and notice that it is reporting many entries on forms. All forms test through to my email address as well as the intended recipient, but I am not getting anything.

[There is only 1 email address set in WPForms – this gets routed through to a redirect service elsewhere for the confirmation email to me.]

If I use the forms, then I certainly get the email!

Could this be Google/Bing running the sitemap created by the RankMath plugin?

Are ‘entries’ committed transmissions or just page reads?

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

  • Hello @nigelpt,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely due to server configuration issues and/or strict email spam prevention settings that are wrongly detecting the notification emails as spam.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??
