When I try to create or update a form layout while using the Safari browser I run into lots of problems. It works great in Firefox, but I am usually updating my website while in Safari. Are there security settings or other issues with Safari that I need to address?

    Thanks.

    Hi @pgaov2020,

WPForms Lite should work as normal in Safari. In order for us to check though, is there a chance that you can provide the URL of your site?

    Thank you.

The forms themselves work fine. I just can’t successfully EDIT a form when using Safari. This is especially true for text boxes containing information I need to change such as the email addresses to send notifications to. It basically locks up then has to reload the page. Editing or creating a form works fine in Firefox, though.

The site is https://onevoiceindy.org. If you plan to try out one of the forms, please just use one of the contact forms, not the order form, since that will trigger other activities.

    Thanks.

    Hello @pgaov2020,

Can you please try checking if you can see any console (Javascript) error when you are in the form builder in Safari? Please follow the guide here on how to check for Javascript errors.

Kindly also try setting up debugging and see if you can see any error that could point us to the source of the issue.

    Thank you.

    Hi @pgaov2020,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation (please just see my post above).

    Thanks!

This may be a dumb question, but in the instructions for how diagnose the problem, one step says to edit the wp-config.php file to turn on script debugging. I assume that this is the wp-config.php file for the website where WPForms Lite is having issues?

Once I’ve turned on debugging, should I try to edit my form before looking at the error messages? Also, should I turn the script debugging off after testing?

Sorry for these basic questions, but this is new territory for me.

    Thanks.
