Hi, I have been trying to use your form for a few weeks, but each time I try to get it working `I get an error telling me there is an issue. I have had many people telling me the form does not work. I have run through your 5 troubleshooting steps and still have the same issue. I only have 7 plugins, including this one, and have switched them all off to no avail. I have even tried to change the theme. I have created and deleted the form multiple times, but I can’t get it working. I won’t pay for pro until I see it working. I can’t find how to add a screenshot here, but the error states.

Heads up! WPForms has detected an issue with JavaScript on this page. JavaScript is required for this form to work properly, so this form may not work as expected. See our troubleshooting guide to learn more or contact support.

  • Hello @firedragons,

Thanks for writing in and we’re sorry to hear about the trouble you’re facing.

I checked the form on your site and the first thing I notice is that the styling of the form looks quite odd that even the submit button is not visible. And, when you submit the form, it defaults to the browser validation. Please check this screencast for reference.

Do you happen to have a caching mechanism/plugin on your site that minified the scripts? We’ve seen some cases before where issues like this happen because of caching plugins. If you’re using a caching plugin, please try to exclude the page where the forms are present from being cached then check it again.

    I hope this helps!

My cache is handled by leap through ezoic. No plugging on my site is affecting it. I only have 7, including this one, and deactivated everything, but still the same results.

    Hi @firedragons,

Thanks for giving that a try. When you get the chance, could you please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue?

Hi Jade I have completed the troubleshooting WordPress guide to no avail. I only run 7 plugins including this one. I have gone through everything and it’s still causing me the issue. I never had an issue when I was using the contact 7 form but decided to use WP form lite to help the speed but this is just not working

You can see the plugins I am using and the warnings on the attached links

    Hi @firedragons,

    My apologies for the wait.

I tried checking the screenshots you have posted but they seem to have been deleted.

In the meantime, is there a chance that you can set up debugging on your site and send us the debug log if you can find any errors from the log? That will help us have an idea of what could be causing the issue here.

    Thank you.

    Hi @firedragons,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
