    Hi @magicduncan,

We recommend setting up a SMTP plugin to improve email delivery of your site.

If you’ve already set up WP Mail SMTP on your site, you can send a test email within WP Mail SMTP to make sure that the configurations are correct. If the settings are correct, you should see a success message.

For more help with setting up WP Mail SMTP, please see the guide to WP Mail SMTP mailers. In that guide, you can find links to the respective tutorials of each individual mailer option. Please also see if your form’s notification settings follows the ‘From Email Requirement‘ for the mailer you’re using.

In WPForms, the Smart Tag {admin_email} refers to the WordPress admin email, which you can find in your WordPress admin settings when you go to Settings > General, in the Administration Email Address field.

The field Smart Tag {field_id="1"} refers to a field with the ID 1. In the Send To Email Address field of your form notification settings, the number in that Smart Tag should correspond to the ID number for the email field in your form. You can see the ID number of a field when you click on it in the form builder.

    Hope this helps!
