wpexpress checkout

I am trying to get this working on my site where I want payments for courses and workshops to show a deposit, balance after deposit, and full price option. I have managed to install it to a point with a payments tab in the menu but I can’t work out how to get the 3 payment options to show in a drop down. Also I can’t get a payment tab on the page where the potential student applies to book the course (that is a wpform but a payment button elsewhere on the page would work). Can anyone help? I am not a web developer just learning as I go along!
