Wpdiscuz css customization not working

I found information that you can customize the css of the appearance of comments https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/customization/custom-template-and-style/ however, when I copy the css according to the plugin – there is a css file for my theme – and I set it there and these changes don’t work.

No matter what I enter in accordance with the directory structure in my theme, these changes do not work. they are loaded from the original file and not the superior one, while maintaining the directory structure of my theme.
