wpdirauth plugin for Network authentication

I’m using wpdirauth plugin to authenticate a WordPress Network against an OpenLDAP server.

The main problem is that the wpdirauth settings seems to be site-wide only, and I need them to be network-wide. Configuring wpdirauth on every new created blog and then letting their admins to change the LDAP authentication options is not what I expected from this plugin.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, or there’s some other plugin more accurate for my purposes. Can you help me?
