I used to have one WP.org website (at https://www.quisqueya.nl), connected to my WP.com account, for Jetpack. I have recently made a copy of my site on another domain (https://www.taaleidoscoop.nl), to separate the blog and two other pages from the rest of the content.

Jetpack and WP.com still see both sites as one, and only one of them ever shows up on https://en.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ I think both sites still share the same Blog ID.

I want to be able to administer both sites as separate entities, also in Jetpack and the WP.com interface. Can someone help me fix this, please? I know a little bit about the innards of WP, but this is beyond my capacities. ??

I think I may lose the stats for one of these sites, once they get separate Blog IDs. If possible, I’d like to retain the current stats with the https://www.taaleidoscoop.nl domain, and start the other site afresh.

    Thanks so much!

Wonderful, Jeremy, thank you so much for continuing to help me out!

I think we’re almost there… Do you have any idea why the site info under My Blogs is still not showing the correct no. of pages and posts? And do you know why under the Taaleidoscoop Site Stats it says 0 comments, but in the Dashboard the correct no. of comments is shown?

    Thanks again!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I’m afraid the previous mix up also messed up the synchronization of your number of posts and comments. I won’t be able to fix this issue, but I took note of the problem and we’ll work on a way to fix this kind of problems in the future.

    Thanks for the report!

Okay, I understand. Do you think that completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the plug-in might help?

I’m afraid not. This data is stored on the WordPress.com servers, so you won’t be able to reset these stats by reinstalling the plugin.

I understand. Well, at the moment it’s only the My Blogs page at WordPress.com that is messed up. The sites both work well, as does the WP iOS app.

Once again, thank you very much for your patience and your help, Jeremy!
