While Jetpack control panels tells me that both connections to my site and account are fine, the Site Health tools tells me from Wpcom connection test that my site is not connected : 200. Even if I follow the reconnection procedure.

I checked the known issues as given in https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/known-issues/
    – Access to XML?RPC looks OK and returns me “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.” as I have no blocking of xmlrpc.php requests in the .htaccess file.
    – In WP-Optimize plugin, I have disabed the minification of JavaScript files.
    – In Complianz plugin, I have disabled the Jetpack integration.

Could you help me and suggest other ideas ?

    Hi @amosnier

When I go to https://attacn91.fr/xmlrpc.php, I receive the following message:

Forbidden - Visitors from your country are not permitted to browse this site.

It seems that there are some country blocks in place which are likely causing the errors in site health, while everything appears OK on your side.

You may need to check with your host to see what blocks might be in place.

You can also ask them to allow our IP addresses listed here:

Please note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time, which could break your connection to Jetpack. For this reason, we actually discourage whitelisting specific IPs, although with some hosts it may be the only option.

Thanks a lot for your clear response ! Actually, as this french site is visited by hundreds of foreign intruders and bots, I had to install a blocking plugin (iQ Block Country) to allow only french visitors. Thanks to your suggestion, the solution was to use the allowlist for the frontend given in https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/

And Jetpack is now well connected to my WordPress.com account and the Wpcom connection test error has disappeared. Of course, I will need to update any time the addresses change. Don’t know the periodicity …

@amosnier – The addresses would rarely, if ever change. They’ve been the same for the 8 years I’ve been here. ??
