    Hi,

Under site health, I cannot get Jetpack to connect. The connection test fails and I get a 200 error. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my account, disabling and re-enabling the plugin, disabling all other plugins, verified that the xmlrpc.php file exists and it is correct when I go to the URL, with no other content there except “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”
This is what the debug tool says:

“We were unable to make an XML-RPC request to your website. Please make sure that XML-RPC is turned on and that Jetpack is installed, activated and connected with your WordPress.com account. If the error persists, try disconnecting and connecting Jetpack again.”

I am also using the default Twenty Twenty-Four theme.

I know this issue has been brought up before, but I have tried everything that I can think of and has been mentioned to try before, and for the life of me I can not figure out what else to try.

As a side-note, I recreated this. Before, my site was down because I had a hardware failure and had to order new hardware, but it took longer than it was supposed to go arrive. So I have the site back up now, and it is still having the same connection issue under site health, even though I connected Jetpack and logged in and everything.

I submitted a request and got an email back, but I have not heard from since, so I will add additional information here. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Jetpack, and I tried disabling all other plugins. Same issue. I also have never touched the xmlrpc.php file. This was the error Jetpack was getting on their end: “-32601 ??[faultString] => server error. requested method jetpack.testConnection does not exist.” But the fix they recommended (mentioned above) did not work. My site is bricklist.net. What else can I try?

    Hi again,

Thanks for sending in the support request. I checked, and my colleague has replied to the support request with steps that can help fix the Jetpack connection for your website.

    Please have a look.

    Best,
