wpcf7_before_send_mail not working in CF7 version 3.9.2

Hi,

Using Contact Form 3.9.2 ( latest version as I write ) got an issue in wpcf7_before_send_mail hook.
In my custom code I implement the hook but the function is never called during execution.
When I replace the CF7 version with an older one everything works fine.

the questions are:
– the wpcf7_before_send_mail support is deprecated?
– there is another way to call an action/hook before the mail is sent to the user?
