• I was told by WPC Product Bundle support that it’s compatible with WPML. But we’re having trouble setting it up for other languages. Is it compatible or not?

    Hi carmen9ccw,

Our plugin is compatible with WPML. However, there are some manual works users need to do for the bundles to be ready in different languages:

    • Make sure the translated version of products in the target language connect to its original product on the single product page.
    • Edit the Bundle product page, re-add the translated version of subproducts to the translated version of the main bundle again as if they are creating smart bundles in the source language.

This is because WPML and our plugin can’t determine which translated products are part of which translated bundle automatically, so users need to re-create the translated bundle with translated subproducts again.

    Best regards.

I have a follow up question to this: Would this problem be solved if we use Woocommerce WPMLs setting for emptying the cart when switching language? As we can see, there is no problem at frontend, only in backend when the order is submitted to third party systems.

It is otherwise a lot of manual work, if we must redo the setup for every bundle in every language.

Never mind my last question. A much more urgent question is that the parent ids and product ids in a translated bundled product is mismatched in the Rest API so orders sent to third party don’t work. Is this something you are aware of, will there be an update for this, or do we have to find another plugin?
