Visual Composer to WPBakery to Visual Composer’s Own Product? What a Mess :P

    Hello Guy,

    Do you have a tool yet to get out of WPBakery which used to Visual Composer, WPBakery is just a horrific plugin today, compared to everything else and has even gotten worse over time, not better.

    At least Visual Composer seems better with it’s cleaner UI and responsive controls, which used to WPBakery or wait Visual Composer, but yet I still install in js_composer, what a confusing mess with your name change and split off.

    I can’t move until a tool is already in place as the time it will take is more time then it’s worth to start over.

    I keep seeing posts all over the internet with so many that want this conversion tool and what to NUKE WPBakery, you would get a ton of new clients if you do offer this tool, which I can’t seem to find yet. I know I can use Short-Code cleaners to nuke all these VC classes, but I’m still starting from ZERO with Visual Composer.

    Please tell me you have a road-map for this, if you don’t already have such a tool?

    What a BRANDING NIGHTMARE you guys created… I’m super confused on what is what here.

    On 2014, WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) has been featured as the most popular and fast growing commercial plugin right after WooCommerce (WooThemes) on the market.

    Yet I still see connection to Visual Composer on your own profile page??????????

    Hi,

    The WPBakery Page Builder: https://wpbakery.com/ and Visual Composer Website Builder: https://visualcomposer.com/ are two independent plugins. I can recommend checking our article: https://visualcomposer.com/help/faq/visual-composer-website-builder-vs-wpbakery-page-builder/ which will help in clearing the confusion between the two.

    The WPBakery Page Builder render it’s content using shortcodes while Visual Composer Website Builder render it directly as html. Unfortunately, a conversion tool is not yet available as both render their content in different manner. Due to this Visual Composer Website Builder cannot edit content from WPBakery Page Builder plugin.

    However, if you are planning to build any new site or if you have any existing site built with WPBakery Page Builder and you want to add any new pages, posts to it then you can use Visual Composer Website Builder to do so.
