WPBakery shortcode not rendering

Hi,
I’m trying to load a Page from my site using the Salient theme that uses VC/WPBakery.
When the popup loads, I get the unrendered VC/WBP shortcodes:

I saw in another post here recently you mention wrapping the Page contents in <div id="modal-ready"></div> so I did that, but it makes no difference.

How do I get the VC/WPB shortcodes to render?
