WPBakery Plugin not working

    Hi all,
    To be frank, I’m totally new here. Not sure if I can ask a plugin related question here. Anyways, here is the issue:
    I’ve been assigned to modify a WP website that’s been developed by someone else a few years back. It’s built using WPBakery page builder. I was able to tweak the settings of the homepage using the WPBakery visual editor. Now, today, after I logged in to the dashboard and tried to edit a page, the WPBakery visual editor is no longer showing. I mean, not even the option to switch between classic editor and backend editor is there. Instead, all I can see is some random code which can only be interpreted by WPBakery, I guess. The website is intact, thankfully. I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin. Didn’t help. Now, I can neither edit existing pages not can I create new pages using it. It’s like the plugin totally vanished (It’s still there in the toolbar, though). Has anyone gone through the same problem? It would be a huge help if someone could help. Thanks in advance.

    You can, but ONLY for plugins (and themes) freely downloadable from www.remarpro.com. That’s because we need to be able to install and check the plugin’s code — before we can offer any meaningful assistance.

    Unfortunately, the WPBakery plugin is a commercial product (though it often comes as a bundle with commercial themes). WordPress support volunteers are not given access to commercial plugins or themes here, so we’re, unfortunately, unable to offer any assistance for WPBakery or any other commercial plugin or theme.

    If your version of the WPBakery plugin came bundled with your “San Fransisco” theme, you’ll need to get in touch with the theme’s vendor for help here: https://themeforest.net/item/san-francisco-it-technology-and-creative-wordpress-theme/27062705/support
