    Hello,
I have a problem with auto generated META content from WPBakery Page Builder (Visual Composer) pages. It is reading the WPBakery design codes instead of raw text content.

I saw another person asked that but you didn’t mentioned the solution.

    Thank you for the help.

Have you enabled the “Run shortcodes in Autogenerated Descriptions” setting (at the bottom of the General Settings menu)?

Yes, it is enabled. With and without that, it is just showing the WPBakery codes.

Maybe it stucked with the auto generated old ones. Is there any way to force it to re-create META data for all posts and pages?

@kayacanakin If you’re referring to the fact that the shortcodes appear in the Preview Snippet and in the placeholder text in the Description field, this is a known issue and we have a Github issue open for this.

It does not affect the meta description output in the source code, that should be perfectly fine. Let us know if it’s not so we can investigate, but I tested this today with the latest version of WPBakery and the meta description was fine on my site.
