WPbakery Backend Editor is not working

    Hello
    I bought the love travel theme (from theme forest) with the WPBakery Visual Composer and I have more than 40 pages built with this plugin.
    Recently it does not work in Backend editor (when I klick Backend editor it shows nothing but classic editor shows all the code and everything on the page)

    WPBakery Visual Composer Version 4.11.2.1 (there is no announcement for updating)
    Wordpress Version 5.3.2 updated to 5.4 (the problem still remains)
    PHP Version 7.3
    I disabled all other plugins and nothin changed (there is no conflict)
    Role manager is enabled for users

  • Just in case if someone’s still looking for a solution.

    If you are using Cloudflare, turn off the Rocket Loader feature from the settings.

    This has fixed my issue with the WPBakery Page Builder. Thanks!

    What the heck!? That was my situation, and your observation and recommendation was the solution for me. I don’t know how it happened.

    Hi everyone, am on WordPress vers. 5.7.2. What worked for me was,
    1) went to WPBakery Builder settings -> Theme Settings and unticked/deselect the “Remove Frontend Editor” option.
    2) Went back to Post and “Edit with WPBakery Page Builder” appeared when I mouseover the posts title. Clicked on that option and went to frontend editing page/mode.
    3) At the top right there’s a button “Backend editor” clicked on that and managed to go back to full WPBakery backend editor mode.

    If you are seeing the frontend and classic editor good, chances are it is just the position of the backend editor that is changed. It would normally go to the side bar along with the publish, page setting, page padding etc.. just drag it back to its normal position.
