What does this mean? I’ve gotten 5 emails today from different IP addresses. The # sign is the actual id of the page. What’s changing?

Message: Wpa-stats status has been changed; details: ID: ####,Old status: new,New status: publish,Title: /ig/

    Hi @mymothersdaughter

What’s changing is that a page’s status is updating from “new” to “publish”, and our plugin is registering the event. You can configure this setting in Settings > Alerts > Security Alerts.

Since our Sucuri WordPress plugin doesn’t actually check for malware inside pages, it might be a good idea to double check that the page is rendering the content you expect. Feel free to use our very own security scanner Sitecheck for that.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I’m connecting to this thread because we are experiencing the same thing.
Our site has 1 thousand of users per day and some hundreds of pages.
Since the recent Securi installation we are receiving some email alerts per day with:

    Event: Post Update
    Website: our website
IP Address: x.yz.113.144 (everytime a different address)
Reverse IP: more or less the same before
    Date/Time:

Message: Wpa-stats status has been changed; details: ID: xxxxx,Old status: new,New status: publish,Title: the title of the page (often a strange one)

When we search the post id xxxxx or the title of the page in the admin panel, we can not find such page or, in case we find it, it has not been changed recently.

The only case in which we find correlation is in sales from our woocommerce. In such case the id n. is the number of the order and the page is one of the sale funnel. But in all other alerts they are related to ecommerce functionalities

We would like to understand what is “wpa-stats”. There are few information on the web about it. Surely it is not the name of a plugin.

    Many thanks
