wp_yoast_seo_meta table bloat: 600mb -11 million lines

    Hello.

    For our site wp_yoast_seo_meta table is now 600mb and 11 million lines.

    The web site is for a local independent cinema so we suspect that much of the bloat is due to the metatag data for past movies.

    How can we reduce the table, and keep it reduced?

    The yoast_seo_meta table is used for the text link counter feature. If you do not want to use the feature, you can disable it with these steps and manually delete the database entries.
