wp_wpmailsmtp_debug_events grows indefinitely

    This table now accounts for over 15% of our database size at over 29mb. This really should be a rolling log or optionally possible to disable.

    Hi @alamana,

    I appreciate your patience! One of our developers pointed out that the WP Mail SMTP plugin already has an events cleanup feature, but it’s disabled by default.

    To enable this feature, please go to WP Mail SMTP -> Tools -> Debug Events section. There, you should be able to enable the “Events Retention Period” (see). Once you select the preferred option (Eg: 1 Month), make sure to save the changes and test.
