Can you tell me why is this plugin setting wp_wpfileupload_0 cookie on our webpage?
How can I caracterize the cookie, is it necessery, preferences, marketing or …?

    Can it be somehow deleted?

Hi, this cookie is necessary for the plugin to operate normally. It just contains a unique ID that helps identify the user. No personal data are stored inside the cookie.

    Hi nickboss,

Thank you for your email. I have one more question regarding multi language support. I have WordPress site in danish and english. Danish is default, english page is https://www.mysite.dk/?lang=en. The language in the Cookiebot banner is not changed to english when I browse the page in english. Autodetection of the language is enabled both in the plugin and in Cookiebot CMS.

Can you help me with this?

    Best regards,
    Natasa.

Hi Natasa, I am not sure about this. The plugin follows WordPress guidelines regarding translation. It should switch automatically.

Are you using any language plugin?

Hej, it’s just setting “Use WordPress language” instead of “Standard autodetect” in Cookiebot plugin and the banner was in english on the english page.

    Thanks for help!

    Natasa.
