wp_title() returns nothing

  • I searched through about 53 topics on this and I still don’t see a solution. I don’t have any plugins that are active that should be causing this. I don’t know if I’ve activated any that would have screwed this up, but the only plugin mentioned for solving the problem isn’t in my plugin folder.

    when I add wp_title() anywhere outside of the loop, it returns nothing. Any ideas?
