• I have found that my posts table has many more records than I have articles on my blog. When I investigated this I found many records with post_status ‘draft’, post_type ‘ngg_pictures’ and post_name like ‘mixin_nextgen_table_extras’. I thought, that data about images is stored id ngg_pictures table. So my question is: Can I safely remove these records?

@keehl – I would not recommend modifying your database under any condition without a fully verified backup of your database (and your site, just in case).

As it is, you can try using the clear image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous to help clear older entries that are no longer needed and have not already been cleared automatically by NextGEN Gallery.

    Thanks!
