wp_post is crashed or unable to repair

Hi,

Our wp_post talbe is not showing any data. It gives following error message –

The wp_posts table is not okay. It is reporting the following error: Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed. WordPress will attempt to repair this table…
Failed to repair the wp_posts table. Error: Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed

Please help. We have taken backup but it is older then one week. Please check and give a solution.
